When you think of climbing out west, the first destination that comes to mind might be the legendary Yosemite Valley.  But as Mark Cushman can tell you, there’s a lifetime of climbing in the Rocky Mountain state of Colorado, from the moderate multi-pitches of the Flatirons to the forbidding steep walls of Black Canyon.  Join us at the May meeting of the Atlanta Climbing Club as Mark presents the “Colorado Classics,” a photo tour of the state’s major climbing areas.  Mark lived in Colorado before moving to Atlanta, so he knows the climbing there, and he’s a good photographer too.  See you Tuesday!

Our May meeting is on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 7:00PM.  We will meet at: The Harp, 1425 Market Blvd, Roswell, GA 770-645-0118
