INTRODUCING THE

Six board members are elected at the end of each calendar year. These members then meet to decide which position each board member will take:

  • President
  • Treasurer
  • Program Coordinator
  • Trip Coordinator
  • Trail Day & Access Issues
  • Communication/Webmaster

The previously-serving President also sits on the board.

The Board of Directors meets quarterly. Board meetings are announced on the web site, and all members are welcome to sit in. If you wish to contact a board member directly about an issue, please see their short profile below.

I started climbing regularly in 2019 after a guided climb of Mt Baker in Washington in 2018 state whet my taste for the alpine. Since then I’ve dabbled in most forms of climbing, my favorite being multipitch trad and ice, especially in alpine environments. I moved from just outside Philadelphia to the Atlanta area in 2025 and quickly got ‘tied in’ with the climbing club here to meet partners and be able to give back to the community that has given much to me!

Born in Florida, but lived most of my life in Metro Atlanta. Got into climbing in 2011 with a membership at SSA. First joined the ACC in 2022. Other interests include whitewater kayaking, camping, and gaming. My favorite outdoor climbing crags are in Red River Gorge.

I started climbing in 2020 as a natural extension of hiking and backcountry travel, and it quickly became my favorite way to explore wild places. Since then, I’ve trained in rock climbing, ice climbing, and mountaineering, and have climbed peaks across Washington, Colorado, and British Columbia. I’m always chasing the next adventure—especially when it involves traveling somewhere stunning and topping out a multipitch route with a gorgeous view. In climbing, I value aesthetics over technical difficulty, and I go on expeditions for the experience and the people, not the trophies.

I’ve been climbing on and off with my entire family for over 10 years, mostly in the South East. I enjoy everything from casual gym sessions to outdoor sport climbing. I’ve also had the opportunity to experience some incredible mountaineering adventures on Mt Baker and The Grand Tetons. Originally from Florida, I’ve called the North Fulton area home for the past 17 years.

I started climbing trees as a kid. Gradually I added climbing rocks at boy scout camp and recently started crawling in caves as well. I enjoy moderate multipitches, scary boulders, sport and trad, pebble wrestling, people wrestling, and mountain biking.

I started climbing in 2016 and was instantly hooked. I love learning new skills outdoors and giving back through volunteering. Originally from Bolivia, I grew up in Florida and later lived in NY and PA before settling in Atlanta, which I now call home.

I’ve been scrambling up things almost all my life. Whether it was big ole pines in my home state of Utah or big walls out east, getting out and moving around has always been exciting to me. In addition to climbing I love hiking, rafting, knitting, and crocheting. In addition if we ever go camping I might bring along a good book to read in our down time. Excited to be on the team and create some legendary experiences.

I’ve always been into outdoor activities, and I got introduced to climbing about a year ago, I have been in love with it ever since. I mostly enjoy sport climbing, but I’m also down to try bouldering and maybe get into trad at some point. When I’m not climbing, I’m usually hiking, kayaking, or just hanging out in the mountains.
